For all those that never got to see the UFC 84 PPV card it will air for free tonight on Spike TV. It features BJ Penn defending his lightweight title against Sean Sherk. The show is counter-programming to EliteXC’s “Unfinished Business”

UFC 84: Payments
Here are the payments from UFC 84. These guys are so underpaid it’s unbelievable. Getting sent to hospital for $10,000 is insanely stupid and wrong. What do you think should the UFC pay their fighters better? I know Keith Jardine’s fight only lasted 30 something seconds but all the time and training he put into it to leave with $10K is bad. Do something UFC!
As you can see the total payout was $1,098,000 a lot of money to the average person but not considering that the UFC made $3.8 Million JUST on ticket sales alone
* B.J. Penn ($250,000) def. Sean Sherk ($35,000)

Tito Ortiz: Dana White is a “Wannabe Gangster”
Video interview done by Sherdog with Tito Ortiz. Ortiz is discussing Dana White, and the money he should be earning for fighting.
Dana White: “I just wish I had 250 other guys like him”
“You see the passion he has for this sport. He told me once that he’d rather lose a fight and have the fans going crazy instead of winning a fight where the people are booing. That’s the kind of guy I want in my company fighting on my shows…. He just wants to be able to blow your mind every time he fights. That’s how he is. I just wish I had 250 other guys like him. If I did, this sport would be so far in front of everything else, it would never get caught.”
The quote comes from UFC President Dana White earlier today. Dana indicated that he does not have a problem with Wanderlei Silva losing more fights because he always puts on a show. Wanderlei Silva will be fighting at UFC 84 against Keith Jardine at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas
