Rampage Jackson Returning to the UFC
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made the announcement earlier today on his official website that he will be making his return to the octagon.
Now, I wanted to let my fans know that I’m going to come back to the UFC & finish my contract. Not because the haters are talking [expletive] about me being scared of Rashad or [Darrill Schoonover] or anybody else. I’m coming back for my fans & to shut Rashad’s mouth up & shut Dana’s mouth up. Then after that I’m going back to doing movies & I might do a boxing match once a year just to stay in shape. Hate on dis!
Rampage Jackson was a coach on this seasons Ultimate Fighter alongside Rashad Evans. The two were supposed to put on the gloves and step into the cage themselves on December 12th but Rampage decided that he would prefer a career in the movies. This obviously did not go down well with UFC President Dana White who has been losing fighters to injuries and sickness quite frequently as of late.
Rampage was still under contract when he decided to “leave” the UFC earlier in the year which probably contributed to him coming back.
