Ryan Bader to Face Eric Schafer at UFC 104 on October 24th
The Ultimate Fighter season 8 light heavyweight winner, Ryan Bader will once again be stepping into the Octagon. Bader’s opponent will be Eric Schafer and the two will fight this October at UFC 104 which is scheduled to take place in Los Angles, California.
Bader has yet to lose a mixed martial arts fight in his career. He is currently 9-0 in MMA and 2-0 in the UFC with one of those wins the one that won him the contract back in December. In his last fight against Carmelo Marrero Bader tore his MCL and PCL but was still able to pull off the win. This will be his first fight back since the injury.
Schafer is currently on a four fight win streak. His MMA record is 11-3-2 with two of those three losses in the UFC. Schafer has his BJJ black belt and should be looking to take the fight to the ground where he should have the advantage. His punching seems to have worked for him also though when he defeated Antonio Mendes at UFC 93 in the very first round.
