Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale set for The Palms, Las Vegas

Much like the past the UFC has gone with The Palms Resort and Casino to host the finale of this seasons Ultimate Fighter. The location was confirmed today. The show will mark an end to the eigth season of the Ultimate Fighter, “Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir.”

Different from the last season is the fact that this time we will see two finales, the lightweights and the light-heavyweights. Also on the card is a rematch between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Kevin Burns. The last fight ended with an eye poke from Burns that was ruled as a (T)KO. Even after an appeal the call stayed, the rematch will settle it once and for-all.

Ultimate Fighter 8 Cast Revealed!

Sports Illustrated (SI.com) have released the list of cast members for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV. Ultimate Fighter 8 will feature 32 cast members 16 from the light-heavyweight division and 16 from the lightweights. The coaches this season will be UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and fellow heavyweight Frank Mir. The next season is set to start this September 17th and to end December 13th with another live finale.
