As rumored yesterday the UFC will be adding another event into it’s already. The new UFC 93 will take place at the O2 Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

The main event in Ireland will be Rich Franklin Vs. Dan Henderson. The fight between the two is less than significant to the title race right now and it is believed that the fight is just supposed to be a crowd pleaser. Dana White, UFC President recently said that “These are two fan favorites with a lot of pride on the line as they want to show that they are still among the very best fighters in the world.”

Rich and Dan have never fought each other but both have suffered at the hands of Anderson Silva, the greatest P4P fighter in the world. Dan Henderson lost once to Silva at UFC 82, Pride of a Champion and Rich Franklin has lost twice to Silva. One of those losses was when Silva first claimed the UFC Middleweight Championship from Franklin at UFC 64. The second came in a rematch a year later at UFC 77. Frankiln managed to last long enough to get to the second round where Silva defeated him via (T)KO.

Mauricio Rua will also be making his return in this event to fight UFC legend Mark Coleman. The first time the two fought was in Japan, Coleman broke Rua’s arm during a scramble for position. This fight will be the first time Coleman has stepped into UFC Octagon in approximatly nine years.
