UFC President Dana White announced in a post fight press conference that UFC 91 brought in a $4.8 Million gate at the MGM Grand. There were 14,272 attendees each shelling out some of the highest prices ever for a UFC event. The event will not go down as the UFC’s bigest gate taking though.

As always a bunch of fighters got fight bonuses. Those fighters include Aaron Riley, Jorge Gurgel, Jeremy Stephens and Dustin Hazelett. Each one of them added another $60,000 onto their salary for the night which is $5000 dollars less than the fighters at UFC 90 got.

Fight of the Night” went to Aaron Riley and Jorge Gurgel. The two fighters had an all out brawl which lasted the full 15 minutes and could of gone in either fighters favor. It was the only fight to make it to the end and get a decision but fans in the MGM Grand applauded both fighters for their efforts. Aaron Riley won the fight with a unanimous decision.

A huge uppercut from Jeremy Stephens earn’t him “Knockout of the Night” in his bout against Rafael dos Anjos. It took Stephens till the third round to land the shot he had been waiting for. In the end though the shot landed clean and Anjos was out before he even got close to the mat.

Demian Maia was not able to get a fourth consecutive “Submission of the Night“. Instead that honor went to Dustin Hazelett who got the second of his career. Hazelett was able to get opponent Tamdan McCrory into an omo plata. Despite many attempts to escape the fight ended with an armbar from Hazelett which got a quick tap from McCory.
